Erin Young, MS, LMSW

Erin Young is a dedicated mental health professional with a passion for helping individuals overcome life's challenges and reclaim their joy.

With a blend of warmth, candor, and a sense of humor, I'm here to guide you on your journey toward healing and growth. My journey into the world of clinical social work began with a deep-rooted curiosity about the human mind, a genuine desire to make a difference in people's lives, and an intense love of learning. I embarked on a rigorous path of education and training, honing my skills in a variety of evidence-based therapies.

I offer a multifaceted approach to address a wide range of concerns. Whether you're grappling with depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, trauma, or perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, I'm here to provide compassionate support and effective strategies tailored to your unique needs.

With particular interest in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), I’ve also received dedicated training in both exposure response prevention (ERP) therapy for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and comprehensive behavioral treatment (ComB) for body-focused repetitive behaviors, like trichotillomania and excoriation disorder. I am currently working on training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Beyond my professional expertise, I believe in fostering a warm and collaborative therapeutic environment where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences openly. Together, we'll work to uncover underlying patterns, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and cultivate new perspectives that empower you to thrive.

When I'm not in the therapy room, you can find me spending time with my husband and our two children, hanging out with friends, reading a good book, and digging in the garden.

If you're ready to embark on a transformative journey toward greater well-being, I invite you to take the first step today. Together, we'll navigate the challenges and celebrate the victories, one step at a time.
